Position Overview
The Automation Strategy Analyst will spearhead the establishment and oversight of vital governance processes, prioritize backlogs, and ensure value realization for all automation activities within our Payments’ operations.
Beyond this, the Automation Strategy Analyst will drive every phase of the automation lifecycle, fostering seamless collaboration and thorough documentation among the business, product, sales, and technology teams.
This includes assisting with discovery, requirements gathering, creating standard operating procedures, and preparing essential materials.
This role will be pivotal in uniting these teams to streamline and optimize our automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver an automation, AI and GenAI roadmap
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and pain points
Proactively identify opportunities for automation, AI integration, and utilization of GenAI technologies to streamline processes.
Assess the feasibility and potential impact of implementing automation and AI solutions, considering factors such as cost, resources, and technical constraints
Work closely with technical teams to design solutions that leverage automation, AI, and GenAI technologies to optimize Payments’ operations.
Analyze large datasets to extract insights and trends that can inform automation and AI strategies for Payments’ operations.
Develop prototypes or proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the functionality and potential benefits of automation and AI solutions.
Coordinate and conduct UAT sessions to ensure that automation and AI solutions meet the business requirements and expectations of end-users.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the implementation of automation and AI technologies, including data privacy and security concerns
Evaluate and select third-party vendors or technologies that can support the implementation of automation and AI solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience working on projects involving automation, AI, or machine learning technologies
Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a Payments or financial services environment
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in process improvement, optimization, or transformation initiatives
Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
Certifications related to business analysis (e.g., CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional) or project management (e.
g., PMP - Project Management Professional)
Strong understanding of Payments operations processes, including transaction processing, reconciliation, fraud detection, and compliance
Knowledge of automation technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), workflow automation, and business process management (BPM) tools
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics
Understanding of GenAI technologies and their potential applications in Payments’ operations
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in the financial services and / or Healthcare sector
