Lancaster Stormers located at Clipper Magazine Stadium, have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media & Videographer intern.
This person will be responsible for assistance in planning, filming, and editing various types of digital video content.
Please note, this is an unpaid internship for the purpose of sports and entertainment industry experience, or for college credit.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to :
Shooting and editing engaging and creative digital content such as videos and other forms of multimedia.Support the team on a variety of video shoots, including but not limited to equipment transport and setup, camera and lighting assistance, and general on-site duties as assigned.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure that the content aligns with the overall goals of the brand.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in digital content creation.
Keeping track of all footage and material, organizing, and archiving them.
May also be asked to assist on planning and strategies regarding social media accountsOther duties as assigned
Required Skills :
Proficient in video editing platformsAbility to work in fast-paced environmentsKnowledge in the sports industryCreative thinking with an excellent eye for detailStrong verbal and visual communication skillsStrong editing skillsThey should be able to visualize and outline clear, engaging, and well-structured content for various types of platforms and audiences.
Familiarity with the operation of professional video cameras and lenses.Some knowledge of professional audio and lighting equipment is preferred, but not required.
Must have their own equipmentValid Driver's LicensePreferred skills :
Self-starter that is easily motivatedWillingness to multi-task and contribute to projects outside scope
