We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microwave Engineer to join the engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with specific experience in microwave design and applications, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry.

You will be responsible for reviewing code and design, writing macros, and conducting lab work, including testing and analyzing data.

Your expertise in programming, coupled with your ability to document and communicate technical information effectively, will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and Analysis : Review existing code and design for microwave engineering projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Macro Development : Write and develop macros to optimize engineering processes and improve overall system performance.
  • Microwave Design : Design, simulate, and implement microwave components and systems, ensuring optimal performance for specific applications within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Lab Work & Testing : Conduct lab work to test and validate microwave systems, analyzing data to ensure that designs meet required specifications and performance metrics.
  • Programming : Develop and maintain software in C++, Python, and MATLAB to support microwave engineering tasks and system automation.
  • Documentation : Produce clear and detailed documentation of designs, processes, and test results, ensuring that all work is well-documented and accessible to other team members.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, to ensure successful project execution and integration.
  • Communication : Effectively communicate technical concepts and findings, both verbally and in writing, to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven working experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on microwave design.
  • Hands-on experience conducting lab work, including testing and data analysis.
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry is required.
  • Solid programming experience in C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Strong understanding of microwave engineering principles and design methodologies.
  • Documentation Skills : Strong documentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
