We are seeking a Private Client Account Manager to join our team in Norfolk. The Private Client Account Manager will provide support to our Private Client Risk Advisors in both production and servicing of new and existing accounts.
About the Role
Collaborate closely with Risk Advisors and other team members on client service, marketing, and renewals. Deliver professional and courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and colleagues, ensuring account retention rates meet or exceed expectations.
Handle incoming calls from insured customers, addressing requests for endorsements, cancellations, remarkets / rewrites, claims, and other service inquiries.
Utilize sales and customer service skills to effectively listen, build rapport, identify needs, offer solutions, and enhance client policy retention.
Process policy transactions in accordance with company protocols. Utilize relevant third-party systems for customer management (e.
g., carrier sites, Applied Epic). Maintain up-to-date client and policy information in the Epic system and ensure all required documentation procedures are completed.
Skills and Experience Required
- Active P&C license and prior experience in the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Dependable, reliable, and punctual. Proficient in call management, including active listening and clear communication.
Basic computer skills, with the ability to adapt to third-party systems and software applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the High Net Worth personal insurance sector.
- Previous experience with insurance software and related systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products or relevant training. Experience with agency management systems, particularly Applied Epic.
- Strong problem-solving abilities. ACSR and / or CISR designations preferred.
