Job Responsibilities :
- Learn and understand the details of the allocation systems for each of the OEM’s currently owned by the dealership location
- Ensure each dealership is utilizing the manufacturers allocation system for maximum benefit.
i.e., preferencing, priority orders, etc.)
- Analyze dealership inventories and help establish an optimal inventory mix
- Consistent analysis of product flow to formulate ways to maximize per outlet sales
- Partner with the point person at the dealerships who is responsible for vehicle ordering and continue to train on system and latest enhancements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of OEM future product cadences and have deep knowledge of how future products will be allocated.
- Develop a relationship with OEM regional distribution managers.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of previous experience in logistics, analytics, forecasting and formula creation.
- Extensive OEM Distribution and Logistic experience and understanding
- Previous automotive vehicle purchasing, online buying and inventory management experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with dealership personnel, executive level management, vendors, and customers.
