Under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, supports operational and logistical activities associated with patient transportation services.
Transportation services include Chair Car, Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, and Emergency 911 services.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide essential oversight to the dispatch team assuring proper unit selection and board management of both emergent and non-emergent calls.
- Monitor all ETA’s, promoting critical thinking for proper unit selection to prevent extended responses and / or lost calls.
- Help ensure CAD is properly updated (right trucks on the board, with right home posts and divisions, with the right crews and end times).
- Work with scheduling & dispatcher to assist in maximizing day of unit count / utilization.
- Work with dispatchers and FS units to address delay issues (extended at scene, drop off).
- Take all incoming complaints from customers / crews. Document corrective actions taken and follow up with FS & Manager.
- Facilitate communications / field problem resolution.
- Monitor the communications office to ensure all employees are properly punched in and logged in at their positions.
- Ensure that all communication staff are using professional etiquette while performing assigned tasks on both telephone and radio communications.
- Counsel communications employees and provide discipline in accordance with Brewster policy.
- Promote a professional relationship while interacting with crews, communications, other managers, customers, and patients.
- Using company set standards / procedures, ensure proper email notifications are sent to management regarding incidents, events, company vehicle accidents / breakdowns, or injuries.
- Assist in CAD reconciliation and export of data (EPCR’s) to server for the billing department.
- Submit a shift report at the completion of every shift via Basecamp.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Proficient in Microsoft Software
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- CPR Certification
- EMD Certification
