Dewberry is seeking a Traffic Engineer in our Orlando, FL office to grow and strengthen our transportation design practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic engineering analyses and prepare plans in the disciplines of signing and pavement marking, signalization, temporary traffic control, lighting, and ITS
• Perform traffic modeling and prepare traffic impact analysis reports
• Perform safety and crash history analyses
• Develop transportation designs that mitigate issues and improve safety for roadway users
• Communicate effectively with internal team members, subconsultant partners, and clients

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Relevant traffic engineering experience preferred
• Proficiency with MicroStation and traffic modeling software such as Synchro, HCS or / and Vissim
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong desire to be a key contributor in an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals
