Territory Sales Manager
Title : Territory Sales Manager
Location : Grand Rapids, MI Area
Pay Range : $80-100K Base + lucrative Commission / Bonus plan
Our client is a leading distributor of wholesale residential and commercial building materials with rapid growth over the last 5 or so years.
This is a very well-established and lucrative territory for the company and there is a need for an experienced and seasoned sales professional to take over this territory as the current long time TSM will be retiring in 2024.
This position will work with current TSM so he can effectively introduce the clientele and transition the territory smoothly.

Position Summary
- Build on and maintain the long lasting, existing client relationships in this territory to ensure market stability and growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory by utilizing a variety of sales strategies.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers to showcase product features and benefits.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate sales teams to maximize and grow revenue and profits.
- Continuously improve product knowledge by engaging with internal and external experts.
- This is a very strong territory for the company with substantial established and potential business and the opportunity for upward mobility within the organization by performing here.
Skills / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales of building materials.
- 3+ years outside B2B sales experience with proven track record of sales success.
- 2+ year customer-facing, outside B2B sales experience preferably in the building materials space.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and in a team environment with excellent follow-up skills.
- Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written.
- High level of integrity and commitment to doing what is right and fair for all involved.
