Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility in Overland Park, KS . This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities :

Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.

Travel and flexible hours are required to work multiple locations and cover Patient Service Center / In-Office

Required Education :

High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training : medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections, is required.

Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred. Keyboard / data entry experience.

Additional Information :

Location : Overland Park, KS

Job Type : 3-month contract

Schedule : 1st Shift 7 : 30 am-4 : 30 pm, Saturday rotation 7 am-12 pm

Pay Range : $19 - $21 / hr.

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
