RPR Trades is seeking qualified industrial Maintenance electricians for their workshop in Melbourne's Western suburbs. This is a casual opportunity with full time hours, $50 per hour with the possibility of permanent employment for the right person.
As a Maintenance Electricianyou will be required to work within a small team, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining winches, lifting equipment and electric motors used in personnel and material hoists.
About You
- Trade qualification (Certificate III Electrical (Electrician) - essential
- Current electrical licence (A-Grade)
- Have strong communication and troubleshooting skills and be able to follow instructions.
- Have a strong safety work ethic.
- Strong experience with motor control and PLCs
- Previous experience in a similar industry highly regarded
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Current Australian working rights
Your Duties Will Include
- Maintenance / repair of company and customer winches, wire ropes, electric motors used in material and personnel hoists
- Test, inspect, diagnose and repair equipment faults.
- Annual inspections and tagging of electric motors / components
