Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team! The Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility operates smoothly by effectively managing staff schedules and ensuring optimal coverage for patient care.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to working in a long-term care environment.

An office setting in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities :
- Staff Scheduling : Create, manage, and adjust staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Shift Coordination : Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and support staff to address scheduling conflicts, shift swaps, and time-off requests.
- Compliance : Ensure that all schedules comply with relevant labor laws, regulations, and facility policies.
- Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for staff regarding scheduling issues and provide timely resolution to any scheduling conflicts or concerns.
- Data Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee hours, attendance, and time-off requests.
- Reporting : Generate and analyze scheduling reports to monitor staffing levels, identify trends, and support management decisions.
- Support : Assist with onboarding new staff members and provide training on scheduling procedures as needed.
- Emergency Coverage : Coordinate emergency staffing needs and communicate with temporary staffing agencies if required.
- Technology Utilization : Utilize scheduling software and other tools effectively to streamline scheduling processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience : Previous experience in scheduling or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Skills :
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
