Job Description
- Personal care : Clean and bathe patients, help with personal hygiene, and change bedding.
- Repositioning : Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and seats
- Vital signs : Measure blood pressure and temperature, and monitor food, water, and medication intake
- Health concerns : Listen to and record patients' health concerns, and report them to nurses.
- Comfort : Provide comfort by using resources and materials, and answer patients' call lights and requests
- Documentation : Complete forms, reports, logs, and records
- Safety : Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures, and adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and federal, state, and local requirements
