We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a Food Preparation and Dishwasher. This role involves assisting in basic food prep tasks, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring that all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, follow food safety guidelines, and work well with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Food Preparation
- Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting vegetables, and preparing ingredients.
- Prepare simple dishes or components, like salads, sauces, or garnishes, under the supervision of the chef.
- Ensure all food prep stations are stocked, clean, and organized.
Cleaning and Maintenance :
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash regularly.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, appliances, and equipment according to food safety standards.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
Team Support :
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, including receiving and storing deliveries.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and a clean working environment.
