Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a Contracts Specialist west of the city. In this role, you will manage the review, negotiation, and drafting of business contracts to ensure they provide adequate protection and are in compliance with corporate risk standards.

Efficient management of insurance and licensing matters, contract administration, and various other responsibilities to support the Legal Department are key components of the role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review, negotiate, and draft customer agreements to ensure adherence to internal risk control guidelines
  • Apply legal principles to various forms of agreements and document preparation
  • Review commercial purchase orders and other contract documents
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure terms and conditions reflect corporate standards
  • Coordinate requests for letters of credit, bank guarantees, and contractor licensing applications
  • Perform export control and sanctions due diligence
  • Coordinate insurance matters including claims, certificates, and annual renewals
  • Administer contract status tracking and maintain internal contract management system

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract administration involving legal issues and negotiation
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial terms and conditions
  • Experience in power generation, manufacturing, or construction industries preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Excel
  • Contract database / management software experience favorable
