About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Marketing ManagerData Strategy, Acquisition, & Enablement to join our dynamic Revenue Operations team (marketing, sales, underwriting).
In this strategic role, you will oversee a global team responsible for building high-quality outbound prospect lists and optimizing data collection processes for sales and marketing campaigns.
Your efforts will support sales and marketing teams with precise, segmented contact data to drive successful outbound campaigns, ensuring that our B2B outreach is targeted, efficient, and data-driven.
What Youll Do
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing ManagerData Strategy, Acquisition, & Enablemen t to join our team, responsibilities include :
1. Team Leadership & Management :
- Oversee and manage a remote, global team consisting of data analysts responsible for acquiring organizing, and enriching target data.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards for data accuracy, compliance, and enablement.
2. Marketing Data Strategy & Target Audience Acquisition :
- Develop and implement a strategy and scalable process for the collection, management, and use of acquisition marketing data.
- Lead efforts to research and curate highly accurate B2B prospect lists using various sources (e.g., databases, tools, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Ensure all prospect data, including company details, contact information, and job titles, is up-to-date and relevant.
- Perform data enrichment, cleaning, and deduplication to maintain the integrity of prospect lists.
- Segment lists based on target industries, company size, location, and other key criteria for optimal campaign performance across marketing, lead generation, and sales team channels.
3. Campaign Data Management & Enablement :
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align list-building efforts with campaign goals and outreach strategies.
- Manage daily and weekly data imports and exports of targeted lists between CRM systems and other marketing / sales platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
to enable outbound email marketing and telemarketing phone calls.
- Track and monitor list performance, providing insights and reports on key metrics such as open rates, conversion rates, and resultant lead generation.
- A / B test lists and optimize them based on performance outcomes and feedback from the sales and marketing teams.
4. Data Tools & Software Utilization :
- Utilize a variety of tools (e.g., Data Axle, InsuranceXdate, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to extract and organize prospect data efficiently.
- Stay current with the latest tools and best practices for B2B list building, continuously optimizing processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.
5. Collaboration & Communication :
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and revenue operations teams to ensure list segmentation aligns with outbound campaign strategies, including email marketing and outbound prospecting phone calls.
- Support the sales team by identifying new lead opportunities and refining outreach approaches based on list performance analysis.
6. Compliance & Data Privacy :
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, in managing and utilizing prospect data.
- Maintain secure handling of all data and adhere to company data privacy standards.
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, data management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in outbound B2B list building, data management, or similar roles.
- Experience managing a global team and leading data collection initiatives.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and data collection tools (ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage large datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data management and organization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for handling prospect data.
