DESCRIPTION :
PSCI is seeking an experienced FPGA design and verification engineer, candidate must have both design and verification experience including hardware integration.
These are backfilling positions to pick up existing tasking from another FPGA engineer which require the candidate's ability to learn and pick up existing design and support quickly.
- Develops, designs, verifies, and documents Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) development.
- Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
- Assignments include the analysis of all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization.
- Typically uses specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Support Circuit card designer with trade studies.
- Develop and release design requirement specifications for products.
- Support of the production environment in debugging and troubleshooting FPGA-related issues in a production environment will be a critical component of this particular role.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active Secret Clearance or Ability to Obtain.

MANDATORY :
- Strong understanding and experience in FPGA design and verification is a requirement.
- Candidate must be familiar with UVM and the system Verilog.
- Candidate must have experience integrating FPGA solutions on hardware and design validation including simulation validation.
- 4-6 years of experience with HDLBASE (VDHL, Verilog, Etc.).
- 4-6 years of experience with Code documentation and processing.
- 4-6 years of experience with Hardware Integration.
- 4-6 years of experience with Programming.
- 4-6 years of experience with Simulation.
- 2-4 years of experience with Embedded Systems.
- 2-4 years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
DESIRED :
- 4-6 years of experience with Analysis and Synthesis.
- 2-4 years of experience with Systems.
- 2-4 years of experience with Configuration Management.
- 2-4 years of experience with Simulink.
