Position Purpose / Summary :
The CTH I (Community Training Home) Licensing & Recruiting Specialist is responsible for recruiting CTH I providers / families, taking them through the licensing process and planning trainings required for all CTH I providers / families.

- Assist in planning and implementation of pre-service and in-service training to families in the CTH I program.
- Provide support to CTH I providers / families during the licensing process.
- Licensing all potential CTH I providers / families (obtaining all information needed to complete licensing package).
- Assist with receiving and matching CTH I placement referrals to appropriate new families as assigned by supervisor.
- Represent Lutheran Services Carolinas professionally in the local community.
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of CTH I providers / families.
- Develop a plan of advertisement for the year in the surrounding counties to promote agency trainings and need for CTH I providers / families.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Travel in car in the recruitment area is required.
- Training in LSC facilities or other facilities on nights / days / weekends when needed.
- Speaking engagements, recruiting fairs in community events and / or churches may be required on a frequent basis.
- Ambulatory throughout all locations.
- Ability to bend, stoop (to floor); reach overhead.
- Ability to lift and carry minimum of 25 pounds.
