This position provides a competitive salary between $113,000 and $130,000, in addition to travel benefits within the American Airlines global network for both you and your family.
As the Maintenance Operations Control Duty Manager, your role encompasses direct supervision of maintenance control operations and staff.
You are tasked with leading, overseeing maintenance scheduling, orchestrating activities of the AOG desk, and boosting the efficiency of fleet management.
Your responsibilities extend to making critical operational choices related to aircraft recovery, all in an effort to facilitate daily operations while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities :
- Lead maintenance control staff to deliver superior customer service and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management to enhance maintenance operations performance and efficiency.
- Manage irregular maintenance operations, including out-of-service aircraft return and OCF approval.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve maintenance operations.
- Ensure maintenance activities meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Provide support during IROP (Irregular Operations) and out-of-service events, collaborating with the OCC (Operations Control Center) Duty Manager.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five years of technical and management experience in a 49CFR Part 121 Airline operation.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Authorized to work in the US.
