Responsibilities :
- The Technical Writer is responsible for preparing and maintaining documentation of data policies, standards, and risk management, translating complex regulations into digestible information
- The Technical Writer will work closely with the Compliance, Risk, Privacy & Security offices for alignment, ensuring documentation complies with appropriate guidelines, laws and regulation, including but not limited to : regulatory compliance, risk management best-practices, industry standards, and company methodology
- This role plans, writes and maintains technical requirements, communicating early on to key stakeholders, including Product and Technology teams across the organization
- This position must be familiar with key data concepts, practices, and procedures, applying a wide degree of creativity to translate technical and procedural specifications
- This important role requires strategic thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
- The role further requires the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and deadlines
- The person in this role should be innovative, organized, and self-motivated to drive the creation and adoption of key data policies
Qualifications :
- Knowledge : Data concepts i.e. Data Governance, Master Data Management, Cloud, Cataloging, Agile Federal Banking Regulations
- Familiarity with various Technical Writing Styles and Documentation
- Understands or knows how to build knowledge in global banking and financial services
Skills :
- Proven experience working in a technical writing position
- Strong communication and interpersonal
