The Research Nurse will :
- Manage multiple clinical research projects for the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine, including research studies in the Operating Rooms and ICUs
- Work as part of the research team for the Pediatric Anesthesia Research Center
- Submit protocols, amendments, renewals and rewrites of current research being conducted in the department.
- Identify, recruit, consent, enroll, and carry out all clinical aspects of studies as well as collect and enter the data.
- Promote a strong working relationship with Boston Children’s Hospital Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- Maintain regulatory documents, including submission of IRB protocols and adverse events.
- Submit and maintain FDA documentation for investigational new drug / device applications as necessary.
- Be the clinical liaison between department data team, Principal Investigators, and research teams.
- Be the clinical resource for the PARC team.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams across the hospital to implement research protocols
To qualify, you must have :
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Clinical research experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (pediatric preferred)
