Responsibilities of the Quality Manager
- A supplier excellence program, including supplier auditing and surveillance
- An effective calibration system.
- A robust corrective and preventive action process, which includes primary training responsibility for Cause, Corrective Action, and Preventive Action training in the company.
- To complete (and host as necessary) customer quality audits.
- Development of inspection methodologies / techniques to include CMM programming and inspection to ensure maximum efficiency of inspection processes.
- Identify proper performance measurements for the department (and personnel as necessary) and visually display and communicate performance for the entire group
- Ensure the company has robust, disciplined processes and ensure that these processes are properly documented, employees are trained in their use, and that we have a rigorous audit program.
- Responsible for leading the continuous improvement of our processes with respect to their affectivity and efficiency.
