Description : *A TEKsystems client is currently looking for someone to fill a Senior Level Role focused within the OnBase Platform, which will encompass the duties of working with the current infrastructure and maintaining upgrades based within the application itself.

This Senior OnBase system administrator is responsible for the administration and support of the client’s OnBase platform and associated services.
This position will require maintaining proper configuration and access controls as well as supporting business solutions in the areas of document management, workflow, imaging, and integration with various business applications.
Most Importantly, this employee will be responsible for administering and supporting Enterprise packaged solutions. From initial planning through delivery and post production support, play a key role in activities including;
validation and alignment of business requirements from a technical perspective, solution installation, solution maintenance as well as operational support.
Ensures the solution performs according to service level agreements and respond accordingly. Provide technical guidance regarding questions concerning product capabilities.
This is a technical role that will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing phases and work collaboratively to implement solutions with other business applications.
To be effective in this role the candidate must understand the architecture of the solution and the infrastructure it utilizes.
Job Responsibilities-Support installation and maintenance of the Enterprise packaged solutions eg (OnBase). Perform configuration management, release management, user provisioning and change management activities as required by the Enterprise packaged solutions.
Identifies reoccurring technical issues and develop tactical and strategic plans to resolve the problems and prevent them from recurring.
Provide guidance regarding troubleshooting issues with end users, technical staff and / or the vendor to arrive at prompt solutions for critical problems.
- Collaborate with other areas in IT to effectively support the Enterprise packaged solutions. (Database, Network, Storage, Security, Server) Work with project technical leads to resolve complex technical issues as well as understand the affects the introduction of new system functionality will have on the solution and take appropriate action to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Understand and work from software requirements. Translate requirements into technical designs that leverage Enterprise packaged software functionality (e.
g. out-of-the-box capabilities) to address business functional needs. Collaborate with technical leads to facilitate the development of optimal technical solutions.
Participate in proof of concepts, and technology evaluationSkill Requirements-Bachelor's Degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience is preferred - 5 to 7 Years of IT Technical Experience within OnBase / developing or maintaining business applications / solutions -Experience with software development life cycle which includes design of solutions using sound architecture concepts, configuration of applications, writing and execution of use cases and test plans, and the delivery of software solutions.
Experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Customer Communications Management (CCM), and / or Document Archiving and Imaging, and their corresponding software implementations (e.
g. OnBase, Kofax, xPression, Quadient Inspire, etc.)-Ability to work independently and to multitask, handling multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Strong communication, analytical, design and problem solving skills. -Experience with IIS, Windows Server Environment, SQL Server Database, XML, Web Services, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Middleware technologies.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server, SourceSafe, CVS, or SVN desired.*Additional Skills & Qualifications : Ability to troubleshoot, and resolve OnBase issues, understanding and supporting processes and OnBase applications across multiple business areas-Ability to prioritize and multi-task between projects and applications-Experience working in and contributing to a team-oriented and collaborative environment that values positive relationships among co-workers-Maintains up to date installation and usage documentation for Enterprise packaged solutions.
- Participate in determining testing approaches, test planning, regression testing, stress testing and defect analysis.-Provide high quality timely estimates for project tasks, activities, and deliverables.
