Our commercial Divisionservices commercial general contractors in the state of Coloradoand occasionally outside of the state.
The position being discussedis within the Commercial Division.
The companyis certified by AISC for buildings and bridges. We employ twocertified welding inspectors and enjoy a premier reputation withcontractors and erectors.

Steel EstimatorResponsibilities :
- reviewing design drawings to perform steeltakeoffs.
- identify steel requirements and workwith the Estimating Manager to apply budgeted hours to create abid.
- understand steelrequirements
- able to work with specificationsand the requirements for detailing purchasing engineering erectionscheduling fabrication coatings andshipping.
- identify potential issues that mightarise during the course of a project.
- identifyand arrange for bids relating to subcontractedrequirements.
SteelEstimator Qualifications :
- experience in reading and understanding designdrawings erection drawings shop drawings andspecifications.
- 5 years or more of experienceas an estimator or project manager.
- Experiencein steel detailing is helpful.
- 2 years or moreof experience with software programs such as Excel AutoCAD Bluebeamand Tekla.
