We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Data Steward to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the integrity, usability, and accuracy of data used in compliance reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of data management and regulatory frameworks.

Job Requirements :

• Identify and document critical data elements related to compliance and regulatory reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data stewards from related data domains to identify the system of record for compliance-critical data elements.
• Work closely with risk, compliance, and business domains to develop business rules, hierarchies, and governance rules for regulatory reporting.
• Apply best practice standards and technical acumen to data mine and profile for research purposes and address any data items needed for the role.
• Define and document reference data standards and authoritative data stores for effective management of compliance critical data.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of SQL and business intelligence / reporting tools to document and analyze current state data flows and suggest improvements. Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data governance or data management roles, preferably in the mortgage industry.
• Knowledge of ETL functions, data warehousing principles, and tools.
• Experience with the practical application of SQL for analytics in platforms such as SnowFlake.
• Experience using Data Governance platforms such as Informatica Axon or similar systems.
• Ability to deliver challenging assignments with time sensitivity & criticality within assigned timelines.
• Demonstrated strong data analysis skills including independent ability to research data requirements in a cloud environment data warehouse and research source-to-target mapping throughout data lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and document data lineage, business glossary terms, business rules, and logic.
• Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with business partners to facilitate data governance meetings, communicate data rules, and navigate discussions around data governance issues.
