Oracle Applications and Database Administrator

Our client with over 40000 employeesglobally is a leading manufacturer headquartered in the InlandEmpire region of SoCal.

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite workat their Rancho Cucamonga office location on Mondays Tuesdays andThursdays. You can work remotely on Wednesdays andFridays.

TheOracle Application and Database Administrator is responsible formanaging and maintaining Oracle applications and databases alongwith associated technologies such as middleware and other relevantapplications.

This includes administering and maintaining theproduction environments such as Oracle EBS SOA B2B RealTimeReporting MWA and other applications and databases.

• Key dutiesinvolve installing configuring and updating software; handlingbackup and recovery tasks; performance tuning; monitoring;
• codedeployment; ensuring data integrity; documentation; managingservice requests with Oracle support; ensuring JSOX compliance;

andproviding oncall support for the systems. The role also requiresclose collaboration with the DBA Manager proficiency in Linux andan understanding of SAN storage.

A willingness and ability to learnand support new technologies are also essential for thisposition.

• PerformanceTuning : Perform regular tuning to optimize systemperformance.
• Backup and amp;Recovery : Implement and manage backup and recoveryprocesses to safeguard dataintegrity.
• ProductionSupport : Provide ongoing support for productionenvironments addressing issues promptly to minimizedowntime.
• CodeMigration : Manage the migration of code changesacross differentenvironments.
• Patching and amp;Upgrading : Apply patches and upgrades to maintainsystem security andfunctionality.
• JSOXCompliance : Ensure compliance with JSOXrequirements.
• Monitoring : Continuously monitor systems to detect and resolve issuesproactively.
• Security : Implement and manage security measures to protect data andapplications.
• Cloning : Perform cloning of databases and applications for testing anddevelopment purposes.
• SOAAdministration : Administer ServiceOrientedArchitecture (SOA)components.
• DataIntegrity : Ensure the integrity and accuracy of dataacross all systems.
• ApplicationAdministration : Oversee the administration ofvarious applications within theenvironment.
• OncallSupport : Provide oncall support to address andresolve critical system issues outside regular businesshours.

AdditionalRequirements

• Collaboration : Work closely with the DBA Manager to align activities withorganizational goals.
• LinuxProficiency : Demonstrate strong proficiency in Linuxfor effective systemmanagement.
• SAN StorageUnderstanding : Understand SAN storage concepts tosupport database and applicationrequirements.
• Learning andAdaptability : Show a strong ability and willingnessto learn and support new technologies as they areadopted.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fiveor more years of overall experience three or more (3) years ofcurrent Oracle EBS Apps DBA (preferably R12.2) and five or more asOracle core DBA.
• Must be proficient in Oracletechnologies i.e. ERP (EBS R12) 19c database 12c Application Serverand tools. and nbsp;
• Proficiency in LINUX / Unixoperating systems MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook) andWindows.
• Bachelors degree in InformationTechnology from an accredited college IT Certifications (OracleUNIX / Linux) or an equivalent combination of education andexperience sufficient to successfully perform the jobs essentialduties.
