We are looking for a Security Project Manager who will be responsible for auditing cloud services crucial to sensitive sectors such as military, government, and healthcare.

The team is dedicated to overseeing the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) for Azure, setting policies, best practices, and procedures across a wide array of technical teams.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Conduct audits of technical security tasks across numerous Azure service teams.
• Validate completion and adherence to security protocols and best practices.
• Generate audit reports to ensure compliance and effectiveness of security measures.
• 50% : Review assessments and validate ADP tickets to ensure correctness and adherence to security standards.
• 20% : Conduct interviews with engineering teams to gather additional data and insights.
• 30% : Produce detailed reports and dashboards to illustrate task completion and burndown of security efforts.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security auditing (knowledge of SDL, static / dynamic analysis tools, threat modeling).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security or networking security.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, C++, Java, Python).
• Years of Experience Required : Minimum 5 years of overall experience in IT security auditing.
• Degrees or Certifications Required : No specific degree required; preferred certifications include CISSP, Security+, or SANS SEC401 Security Essentials.
• Disqualifiers : Lack of proficiency in the top 3 hard skills specified.
• Best vs. Average : Ideal candidates will possess the preferred certifications and substantial experience with PowerBI.
• Performance Indicators : Evaluation based on the thoroughness of audits completed, depth of analysis, and quality of reporting.

Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Hourly contract rate range of $57.00 to $64.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
