Ask yourself :

Are you a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic with a passion for your craft? Do you have strong attention to detail and the ability to solve complex mechanical issues?

Are you a team player with excellent communication skills? If you answered "yes" to these questions and can meet the following requirements, we need you as our next Heavy-Duty Mobile Mechanic!

• 3 5 years’ experience in Heavy Duty truck applications
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in heavy duty equipment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver license
• Ability to use multiple scanning tools for diagnostics.
• Ability to use and interpret technical manuals.
• Ability to work alone.
• Basic computer skills
• CDL preferred (not required)
• Must be knowledgeable in DOT inspections along with full knowledge / understanding in performance of pre / post-trip requirements

Job Responsibilities :

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose Heavy Duty trucks and other equipment.
• Repair and / or replace any defective parts, components, or systems.
• Test equipment once repaired to ensure operation is complete.
• Travel to various remote sites to accomplish field repairs and / or Preventative Maintenance on internal and external trucks.
• Document steps taken throughout the repair process on work orders and list supplies used for the repairs.
• Occasional welding on equipment as needed.
• Work out of shop when not on service calls

Preferred :

• Completion of a technical certification program for mobile heavy equipment repair
• Mobile mechanic experience
• Supervisory experience
