Skills

  • Proficient in Autodesk’s Revit, AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Inventor.
  • Strong experience in materials handling.
  • Familiarity with software such as Belt Analyst, Bulk Flow Analyst, Aggflow, Pipeflow, and Caesar II.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Size and prepare specifications for mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Design materials handling, conveyor systems, crushing and screening systems, and dust collection systems.
  • Prepare capital cost estimates and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Develop conceptual through final designs using CAD and 3D modeling software.
  • Coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Ensure attention to detail and accuracy in all designs and reports.
  • Travel as required for project needs.

Qualifications

  • A BS in Mechanical Engineering; M.S. preferred.
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Active P.E. licensure.
  • Background experience in minerals, cement, and / or lime preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Revit required.
  • Experience in leading projects.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Education Requirements Credential Category

Professional Engineering (PE) license required.

Experience Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on heavy industrial applications.
  • Experience in wet and dry grinding systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of slurry handling systems is desirable.
