Under the general supervision of the Key Accounts Analytics and Insights Manager, the incumbent will be a trusted partner for the Sales team and work closely with the Business Insights Departments to drive business growth by crafting data for compelling selling stories needed in line reviews, in-depth analysis of in stocks across multiple distribution paths to market, promotional performance analysis and recommendations, communicate complex category trends across multiple locations in stores & will take the lead on any other analysis needed to ultimately drive getting enough product in stores & selling at higher velocities.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Succinctly deliver complex insights during retailer line reviews and business meetings by crafting accurate data and uncovering key insights that correspond to good2grow & the retailer’s key objectives.
  • Utilize already existing reporting and measurements tools for key accounts to deliver key opportunities and actions that ensure success while also identifying opportunities to improve or create new reporting.
  • Develop and implement Data Visualizations Dashboards for each Account Manager you are partnered with.
  • Where the data is available, build and own automated PowerPoints for each retailer. Send PowerPoints to key stakeholders on an up to weekly cadence and clearly communicate key insights that enable the sales team to drive action.
  • Analyze retailer promotions by compiling a succinct story from multiple data sets to understand if a promotion’s success or failure was driven by store execution & inventory, pricing, secondary placement, or any other factors.

Based off those findings, provide recommendations on how to improve future promotions.

Collaboration and Communication

Become a trusted partner for the National Account Sales Team and be the main point of contact for any business insights needed on a consistent and ad hoc basis.

Competitive Analysis

  • Support continued distribution gains by ensuring accurate and complete category analysis of the retailers planogramed space.
  • Proactively determine opportunities within retail chains and guide Sales team on how to continue driving optimal placement and improve inventory levels, while working to increase points of interruption in store.
  • Any other analysis needed to drive getting enough product in stores & selling at higher velocities.

Education / Experience

Required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience as an analyst.
  • 2+ years working in DOMO or other dataset software.
  • 2+ years working with syndicated or retailer portal data.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Preferred :

  • Experience within beverage sales is preferred.
  • 2+ years working with consumer-packaged goods, retail and / or product distribution retail experience and / or store level selling
  • 4+ years of experience as an analyst.
  • Experience within a small company, especially a small growth company.
  • Master’s Degree or completion of Data Analysis Bootcamp
