Job Description

Join Jack Link's as an IT Business Intern for Summer 2025!

As an IT Business intern, you will have the opportunity to gain relevant, industry critical hands-on experience while being embedded within Jack Link’s highly professional, collaborative and exciting IT Team! You will work with both IT and Business stakeholders, primarily on Sales and Finance Teams, driving to understand current business processes, surface challenges and help identify IT and process-based solutions to address these challenges, bringing business value.

Working with world-leading enterprise software solutions such as Salesforce, SAP, PowerBI, and others, you will shepherd IT work from concept to delivery, partnering with global business and technical teams across the U.

S, Canada, Europe and Latin America!

Projects may focus on automating manual processes, working with Salesforce or SAP enhancements, building reports to deliver new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to business leaders, gathering business requirements and evaluating software solutions and related work.

At the completion of your internship, deliver a final presentation on your internship experience to many of the IT, Business and Executives that you worked with during your internship.

As an IT Business Intern within Jack Link’s IT Team, you will work closely with the technology and business teams, gaining both formal and informational training across several disciplines.

Primary IT Business Intern responsibilities include :

• Collaborate with the business and creating necessary requirements and user stories.
• Creating mockups or prototypes and present to business partners to assist with refining business and development requirements and user acceptance criteria.
• Be part of development team to set goals and deliverables and communicate new functionality or enhancements, to stakeholders.
• Attend daily stand-ups as needed and work with development teams so that clear understanding of backlog items is achieved, providing guidance and clarification when sought.
• A final presentation to leadership team, summarizing your experience and highlighting your contributions.

Qualifications

Experience with the following is preferred :

• Academic focus in Information Technology or Business
• Finance and / or Accounting interest and aptitude
• Team player with a can do attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Able to think critically to break large problems into smaller, quicker, achievable wins.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
• Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
• Exposure to or a willingness to learn, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing and documentation using applicable methodologies.
• Ability to work with an iterative, incremental and professional IT environment.
• Strong preference for candidates within a commutable distance to Minneapolis, MN
