Overview
Responsible for the scheduling of all internal and contract flight maintenance resources, in support of Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo operations.
Ensure financial vendor management invoicing and allocation is appropriately reviewed and processed. Manages the day-to-day scheduling and coverage of flight maintenance for operational needs
Responsibilities
Manages the daily scheduling activities of the in-house Flight Maintenance Managers Team
- Coordinates additional contract flight mechanic resources through approved Company vendors
- Responsible for the planning of supporting activities related to passenger and cargo operations - scheduled service, ACMI, Ad-Hoc, commercial and AMC charters, across all fleet types
- Responsible for the review and approval of vendor invoices
- Coordinate and manages Flight maintenance task list with MX Control to ensure request are complete. This includes special requests, inspection requirements or line maintenance tasks.
- Responsible for the review and monitoring of the fleet-wide flight schedule
- Responsible for the assignment and notification of flight duties
- Responsible for all required jump seat listings in AIMS
- Manages the Monarch Scheduling System database
- Responsible for the analysis and reporting of the monthly manpower utilization
- Publishes the Daily Flight Mechanic Assignments report
- Coordinates with Regional Maintenance for additional station support requirements
- Coordinates and maintains communication with Maintenance Control and System Operations, to resolve issues arising from lack of flight maintenance support, or jump seat availability on flights
- Responsible for the reconciliation of submitted delay reports by Flight Maintenance
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director, Flight Maintenance Support Services
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical aviation discipline is preferred. Or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of aircraft maintenance planning, including manpower scheduling experience is required.
- Ability to track and analyze aircraft routes
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of all aspects of a worldwide airline operation

- Ability to multitask and to effectively work with competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills : Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
