Shipping/General Laborer

Salary / Pay Rate / Compensation :

16-18.50 an hour

Shift : 7am-330pm

• Potential for overtime earnings. What’s a typical day as a Shipping / Laborer? You’ll be :
• Packaging finished goods for shipping.
• Following standards and procedures for counting and packing parts to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Loading box trucks for optimal floor space usage and safe arrival of products.
• Assisting in keeping driveway and outside storage clean, organized, and safe.
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe. This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
• Can lift 50-75 lbs.
• Have experience wrapping pallets with stretch film and / or shrink wrap.
• Are able to move pallets by pallet jack.
• Have experience using various power tools.
• Can communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Possess good basic math skills (addition & subtraction).
• Are punctual and reliable.
• Work efficiently with speed, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Are able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb a step ladder, reach, and perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
• Can work in cold or hot temperatures in a plant environment.
• Are available to work overtime after 3 : 30 p.m. as needed for scheduled after-hours
