Eliot is seeking energetic, positive, service-oriented individuals to work in a variety of group home settings with children, ages 0 - 12 years old, who are in the care of the Department of Children and Families.

The role is multifaceted and includes teaching, limit setting, advocating, coordinating treatment, and being a positive adult role model.

Our Social Services Division includes short-term community-based assessment programs and group homes for children (birth to 12 years old) and adolescents (13 to 21 years old).
The programs are contracted with the Department of Children and Families and provide a safe, structured, and respectful environment for children and youth to thrive, change and grow by focusing on treatment, skill-building, and permanency.
Responsibilities :
- Daily coordination, support, and guidance of children in their daily activities that may include classroom, leisure / sports activities, meals, and hygiene
- Serve as a healthy adult role model to children and assist them in developing coping, social, and life skills.
- Serve as an advocate to the youth through the implementation of his / her Individualized Treatment Plan.
- Monitor children while ensuring program safety and security.
- Monitor and observe the behavior of children and take appropriate action to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
