Our Client a multinational leader in the financial services industry is hiring
their financial controller . This position is responsible for all financial
reporting matters under USA GAAP and for maintaining strong internal
controls. This position is responsible for financial reporting to the Regional
Headquarters.
Responsibilities :
Supervise all aspects or Puerto Ricos financial statements closing
process
Coordinate with cross functional teams closing activities and
ensure all deadlines are met.
- Quarterly financial reporting deliverables variance analysis and support the consolidated financial statements preparation
- Manage internal and external audits / coordinate audit process
- Certify quarterly reports are accurate and in accordance with US GAAP
- Regulatory reporting
- Provide accounting teams with USA GAAP Guidance
- Work with cross functional teams for revision of contracts and evaluate key accounting implication
Requirements :
- Bachelor degree in accounting
- CPA license
- Five plus years of experience in Accounting / Finance leadership
role
- Strong USA GAAP statutory and regulatory knowledge
- Supervisory experience
- Fully bilingual
- Advanced in Microsoft office and / Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems
