The Procurement Purchasing Lead is pivotal in overseeing procurement activities, cultivating vendor relationships and ensuring efficient acquisition of goods and services.

Procurement Purchasing Lead Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise the procurement team, overseeing daily operations and optimizing procurement processes
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance cost-efficiency and align with organizational goals
- Establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve favorable outcomes
- Collaborate closely with finance, operations and logistics teams to ensure procurement activities support company objectives
- Monitor market trends, evaluate supplier performance and analyze procurement data to drive strategic decision-making
Procurement Purchasing Lead Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in procurement supervision
- Demonstrated success in building and managing stakeholder relationships
- Strong proficiency in Excel and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to work
- Experience with Lawson / Infor preferred
- Familiarity with GHX preferred
