Substitute Cafe Assistant
Position Summary
Performs food preparation, portioning, packaging, service, and clean up at a school site that may also serve as a food production facility for remote sites.
Performs as a cashier and operates a point of sale computer.

Employee Type : Full Time and Part Time
Salary : $17.60 Cafe Assistant II; $21.50 Cafe Services Team Leader I; $23.39 Cafe Services Team Leader II -per hour (Step 1 of the Board Approved CSEA Salary Schedule for the classification)
Education and Experience
The position typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and up to two years of experience in large quantity food preparation, food packaging, and serving.

A food handler’s certificate. May require a valid driver’s license.
