We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures, ensuring that our financial data is accurate and up to date.

The Bookkeeper will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as preparing detailed reports for senior management.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and manage all financial records, including sales, receipts, purchases, and payments.
  • Ensure accurate and prompt monthly and quarterly closes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Record and track fixed assets, including depreciation.
  • Conduct regular ledger reviews to maintain accuracy.
  • Analyze financial data and create financial forecasts for future business growth.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for financial planning and decision making.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Interact with management team and other staff members in performing job duties.
  • Develop and implement improvements for accounting systems and processes.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks and general ledger functions.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in preparing journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statement preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing monthly closes and preparing financial reports.
  • Proven skills in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in working with auditors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is preferred.
