JOB SUMMARY
The Market Specialist's role is to provide support to customers and fields sales for strategic markets. This position is a liaison between the factory and sales for strategic markets.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Market Specialist reports to the Manager, Market Channel Solutions and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide product support to customers and field sales organization by answering technical / application / customer specification questions within agreed-upon time frame, including support for non-AM product.
- Provide coordination and support of product quality cases utilizing product knowledge and product application expertise.
- Coordinate and support product set up and product changes in SAP and PIM.
- Coordinate and support fast-track documentation.
- Work closely with cross functional teams including Product Management, Sales, Logistics, Planning, Production, and Customization.
- Work Closely with Marketing to create or update product support literature and implement promotional strategies.
- Maintain an excellent perception of products in the marketplace (quality, innovation, and price).
- Ensure application excellence of all Belimo products.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and technical / professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product, technical support, or marketing position.
- HVAC or related industry experience a plus.
- Data Center industry knowledge a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand and master product applications
- Demonstrated initiative, persuasiveness, and creative problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
- Proficient use of word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail software
- Travel requirements of position is approximately 15%.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated with with ability to structure work schedule and work independently
The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000 - $90,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary.
