POSITION SUMMARY :

As an In-Room Dining specialist, you create an intimate dining experience within the guest room, while providing world class service.

Outside of the guest room dining experience, our specialists assist with making magical moments for our guests through delivery of amenities & other special guest requests.

You will provide extraordinary guest service going above and beyond in all situations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Maintain & adhere to all resort service standards & expectations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & having an keen eye for detail, including but not limited to mise en place, table setups, checklists
  • Working & communicating as part of a cohesive team
  • POS point of sales knowledge
  • Basic computer (pc) knowledge & usage
  • Obtain & maintain a RAMP certificate through the state of PA
  • Maintain & care for department assets, including but not limited to serviceware, tables, room service vehicle.
  • Adhere to SOS sequence of service for an in room dining experience, meeting all standards.
  • Stay up to date on menu knowledge & allergy awareness.
  • Assists with guest requests from guest profiles in our RMS sevenrooms / Host, including but not limited to contact information, preferences, information to create real life magic (anniversaries, birthdays, personal preferences, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills, with proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & maintain collective & genuine in high volume situations.
  • Adheres to SOPs, including but not limited to phone etiquette, personal appearance, timing & attendance, guest interactions.
  • Maintaining a luxury mini bar amenity, including a variety of high-end retail food & beverage items.
  • Adhere to cash handling & proper tender transactions.
  • Knowledge of menus for all food & beverage operations, in additional to general & accurate resort information
  • Other job duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

  • Friendly and out-going personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time, use stairs if necessary
  • Valid driver’s license & comfortable driving a company vehicle responsibly adhering to state driving regulations.
  • Must be able to speak the English language fluently.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must be able to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Customer service experience preferred; room service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to holidays, weekends, evenings, early mornings & overnight shifts.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to interface professionally with business contacts and customers.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality industry helpful.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as through a minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest service role.

$1,000 Year-Round Referral Incentive - Receive a reward of $250.00 when you refer a new applicant who is hired and is employed for a minimum of 90 days! Receive a second reward of $250.

00 when the referred associate continues their employment for a total of 6 months! Receive a third award of $500.00 when an associate continues their employment for 1 year!
