Job Title : Demand Planning Analyst
Location : Boston, MA
Overview :
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Operations Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. This position, based in Boston, MA, focuses on driving all demand planning activities, including actively participating in monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) sessions and maintaining monthly Operations Forecast files.
The successful candidate will work closely with Sales to estimate future product demand, ensuring efficient production capacity planning and material flow.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and improve forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management by conducting risk assessments and suggesting effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement solutions to enhance the accuracy and reliability of demand forecasts.
- Clearly communicate forecast and inventory estimates to management.
- Monitor and report significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Create and maintain monthly forecasts for guiding Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and production planning.
- Play a pivotal role in monthly S&OP activities as a key contributor.
- Address demand-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate demand for new product introductions and limited-time offers, integrating them seamlessly into the overall demand picture.
- Commit to maintaining a culture of safety, collaborating with management and supervisors to ensure a safe work environment.
- Engage in other assigned projects and duties as necessary.
Qualifications :
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or other Supply Chain functions.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in multiple supply chain disciplines such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, R&D, and Quality.
