Pay Range : $18.85 - $26.09 USD hourly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in filling and dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Interacts with patients to counsel, explain proper usage, potential side effects, and any other relevant information and directs them to the pharmacist as appropriate.
- Learn the process of handling medication insurance billing.
- Adhere to protocols to prevent medication errors, cross-contamination, and ensure proper storage.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and updating patient profiles appropriately.
- Familiarize and follow CHAS policy and procedures, pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and ethical practices.
- Involved in health promotion initiatives or medication therapy management.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications :
Current valid pharmacy intern license in the state of Washington and / or Idaho required. Current enrollment in an accredited school of pharmacy.
Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Basic computer skills required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required.
Physical Demands :
Sitting at a workstation between 1 / 3 and 2 / 3of the day. Able to move around the facility over 2 / 3 of the day. Reaching, using hands, climbing, stooping, or crawling less than 1 / 3 of the day.
Communication is also required over 2 / 3rds of the day. Lifting up to 10 lbs occurs occasionally, while 25-50 lbs occurs infrequently.
