Consumer Finance Intern
Supervisory Responsibility : None
In This Role, You Will
Assist with the daily branch office operations by interacting with customers and ensuring that loan materials are organized.
Interns work at various offices in the assigned region and gain experience in different office environments and with various customer bases.
Responsibilities :
- Promptly greets customers and provides assistance. Leads customer to the appropriate staff member to meet customer’s needs.
- Answers the telephone, provides information, and enters correspondence information in the system as applicable.
- Provides superior service to customers regarding the statuses of their current accounts.
- Completes and files paperwork involved with the loan closing process.
- Ensures that all customer information is accurate and up to date in the electronic data system.
- May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.
Required Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Communication, or a related field of study.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Desire to work in a team setting.
- Ability to work 15 hours a week minimum.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Junior or Senior in four year degree or bachelor's degree program.
- Previous customer service experience.
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms;
and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
