EisnerAmper is seeking an Alteryx Developer to support our State and Local Tax practice. This individual will be responsible for performing tasks in support of the department in the technical areas of the design, development, testing, and support of Alteryx and reporting solutions.

What Work You Will be Responsible For :

  • Works on assigned segments of client work related to Alteryx platform, statistical approaches, machine learning, and related disciplines.
  • Communicates with clients to gather information and clarify financial details.
  • Coordinates with supervisor on all phases of the engagement, including communications with the client, scheduling, and assignments.
  • Translates and communicates business needs in clear technical terms to the technical resources and the technical details in simple business terms to the leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyzes requirements and architects appropriate solutions, with detailed design documents.
  • Communicates any significant findings or questions that involve accounting principles, with a diverse group of individuals professionally, appropriately, and promptly.
  • Assists in the software development life cycle from scoping, analysis, design, implementation, and quality assurance to delivery and support.
  • Assists in troubleshoots production issues, identify root cause and communicates results identified.
  • Assists in the verification and accuracy of data and maintains and supports the Data Warehouse.
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, work processes and financial performance (e.g., procedure optimization).

Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

May assist co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service. Actively supports teamwork throughout the organization.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Decision Sciences, or a related technology field is required.

4+ years of relevant experience may substitute education requirement.

1+ years of experience in a support role or basic knowledge of development, maintenance, client support, enhancement, and optimization of an organization's Data Management or Business Intelligence (BI) systems, processes, and information is required.

Preferred / Desired Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience working with Alteryx Server, Alteryx Designer, or Galaxy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or a similar tool.
  • Basic understanding of data integration, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience with SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skill capabilities.
  • Have excellent communication skills in business and technical environments, and professionally and appropriately communicating with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills are required.
  • Able to successfully work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
  • Ability to perform effectively, efficiently and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism including ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and work well independently and with teams.
  • Technically proficient to perform at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • May periodically travel and work from different company locations.
  • May be required to work overtime, and / or on weekends as needed.
