With supervision and management by both physicians and other NPs and PAs, you’re supported by people who understand your professional needs and Highlights The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of gastroenterological conditions and treatment options.
This individual will combine care with aspects of medical care, focusing on the patient as a whole person. The provision of care includes but is not limited to : consulting and diagnosing patients, managing and treating conditions consulting with other physicians, among other duties.
Teaching and counseling individuals, families, and groups are an important part of this.

Qualifications
Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (.
graduate, non-matriculating program)
- Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
- Previous experience in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine or Surgery preferred, but not required
