Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough cost estimations for large ground-up projects, using your expertise to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to evaluate project specifications and create comprehensive bid packages.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documents to identify potential risks, costs, and challenges.- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids and reliable partnerships.
• Deliver detailed estimates within required deadlines, presenting findings to senior management for review and approval.

Essential Job Functions :

• Utilize your 10 years of experience in estimating to provide accurate cost projections and timelines.
• Apply your understanding of industry standards and best practices to develop reliable estimates for project budgets.
• Conduct thorough research on market trends, materials, and labor costs to stay up-to-date with industry changes.
• Utilize specialized software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in estimating processes.
• Prepare detailed reports, spreadsheets, and presentations to effectively communicate project estimations.

Skills :

• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Procore or Bluebeam, OST.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve estimating challenges.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
