Speaking of transparency, while the role is officially titled Director of Admissions, we list it as Director of Sales in job descriptions to attract top sales professionals who might otherwise overlook it.

Make no mistake, this is fundamentally a sales role. However, we view HEROIC as an educational institution and use titles that reflect our mission and our selective admissions process.

We choose our students carefully; not everyone who applies is accepted.

You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for meeting our revenue growth objectives. Your role includes developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans, enrolling students, as well as training and managing sales associates.

Your success in executing these strategies is crucial to achieving your financial targets.

You will build a sales team from the ground up, ensuring each member aligns with our core values and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding our client base (we refer to them as students) and industry trends.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Admissions, your role involves strategic planning to fill our introductory events with qualified nominees, achieving high conversion rates into our comprehensive training programs.

You will meet sales goals through continuous engagement and vetting of new candidates, both over the phone, via Zoom, and in person at the HEROIC Campus.

You will be responsible for filling our CORE events a two-day training program offered monthly on our campus in Lambertville, NJ, which consistently receives a perfect Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 100+.

You and your team will then lead the post-event sales sprint to achieve our admissions targets for our higher-level training programs.

You will also run off-cycle admissions campaigns and drive sales efforts for our other programs and service offers.

By partnering with students to understand their professional needs and objectives, you will effectively and authentically represent HEROIC.

Staying informed about industry trends, you will analyze and report on sales outcomes, ensuring you can articulate the unique aspects of HEROIC’s products and services.

Requirements and Skills

You have a proven track record as a sales executive, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, with extensive experience in the services industry.

You excel at communicating, presenting, and influencing at all organizational levels, driving the sales process from planning to closing.

Your ability to position products against competitors is unmatched, and you have demonstrable experience as a head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.

Your excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills are complemented by exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Additionally, you possess strong mentorship and team-building skills, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales team.

Salary

Salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $110,000, depending on experience, plus potential bonus opportunity for achieving collected revenue and other goals up to $70,000.

Compensation packages are revisited annually at the end of the calendar year.

Work Location and Travel

Most of your work will be remote, but we sometimes gather at the HEROIC Performance Center in Lambertville, NJ for team meetings.

You’ll also attend our events at least once per month, sometimes twice. While out-of-state travel isn’t typical, opportunities may arise for conferences, business development meetings, or training.
