Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC (OTS) has a rich history of providing IT support and associated services in highly complex, highly regulated, highly secure environments, including the U.
S. Department of Defense (DoD), law enforcement, health care, retail, and the casino gaming industry. OTS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oneida Nation Enterprises.
We are seeking a mission-driven professional with a Secret Clearance, Security + Certificate and 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator for the federal government to become our next Sr.
Systems Administrator in Rome, NY.
As Systems Administrator, Senior you will :
- Install, administer, and troubleshoot network security solutions.
- Update software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.

A week in the life of a Systems Administrator, Senior :
- Perform vulnerability and penetration tests, identify and defend against threats, and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Configure security systems, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior.
- Create network policies and authorization roles and defend against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
- Configure and support security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software.
Job Requirements
- Secret security clearance required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Security Administrator
- High School Diploma Required. Associates Degree Preferred
- Security+ certification or equivalent required

- Demonstrated ability to approach job responsibilities with a focus on process improvement
