Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting
Location : Morris County
Salary : $95K to $110K (DOE) plus bonus

Our client is seeking a hands on Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting responsible for both Technical Accounting & SEC reporting of complex accounting matters.
3-6 years of work experience with a combination of both public accounting and public company experience desired.
What will be expected of you as Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting?
- Provide technical reporting and accounting assistance in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q and10-K forms)
- Master complex technical accounting issues
- Participate in the integration of acquisitions and divestitures
- Create and update data queries / templates
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Develop and mentor staff, and perform annual reviews
- On a recurring basis, participate in continuing education classes to keep financial reporting skills current and master online tools
- Manage special projects as need
What qualifies you for this Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting position?
- Bachelors’ degree in accounting
- 3 - 6 years of experience
- Some public accounting experience and CPA preferred
- SEC financial reporting experience required
- Proficient in Excel
- SAP a plus
