A company is looking for an Intermediate Workers Compensation Analyst to manage moderately complex claims.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate workers' compensation claims and determine their validity under applicable statutesCommunicate with medical providers to develop and authorize treatment plans and review medical billsManage claim recoveries, including subrogation, and prepare required state filingsRequired Qualifications and TrainingAt least 2 years of direct workers' compensation experience, specifically with indemnity claimsRecent adjuster training hours (30 hours required in the past 2 years)Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulationsExperience with IEA or California Self-Insured is a plusMust be located in California
