Overview
As the Assistant Chief Engineering Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities.
You will assist in managing the day-to-day maintenance activities, supporting the Engineering team, and ensuring that our hotel remains in top-notch condition.

Key Responsibilities : Support Maintenance Operations : Assist in managing and coordinating daily maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility repairs.
Preventive Maintenance : Ensure the timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns and prolong the life of equipment.
Team Leadership : Supervise, train, and mentor the engineering staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Guest Satisfaction : Collaborate with the front office and housekeeping teams to promptly address and resolve any maintenance issues that may impact guest satisfaction.
Safety Compliance : Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
Inventory Management : Assist in monitoring and maintaining an adequate inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Budgeting : Support the Chief Engineer in managing the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses and optimizing costs.
Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours call-outs as needed. Sustainability Initiatives : Contribute to the hotel's sustainability efforts by identifying opportunities for energy conservation and waste reduction.
Qualifications Experience : 3-5 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality maintenance role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance. Leadership : Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus. Availability : Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
